The contemporary collections are becoming more noticeable these days, as the designers look to gain more international exposure. I have also come to really enjoy the contemporary collections because they are more wearable and appealing to me. I think some of the high end designers go to great lengths to portray an artistic sense rather then a more practical one. I love fashion but sometimes it is hard for me to comprehend the extravagant runway shows. I think the contemporary designers shouldn't be overlooked.
So this brings me to Rebecca Taylor. I remember being drawn to the designer in high school. The brand consistently delivers its message season after season. When I think of Rebecca Taylor, I see ruffly blouses and dress in simple and flattering colors. Very youthful and complimentary to the cute clientele. When I shop, I am one to pick out unique pieces that are sure to stand out. I hardly ever buy into boring and plain clothes. So when I spend a decent amount of money on clothes, I look for distinctive and something I don't already own. Rebecca Taylow certainly delivers:
I like a hint of a leopard print piece here and there and this cute cardigan is adorable paired with the high waisted short.
Comfy wide-leg pant is great with this beige sweater....Really like this neutral sweater because it can go with many things! I think it might even be interesting to try to wear dress up the sweater look for a night out.
Great tiered cardigan...Such a take notice piece.
I think this tiered dress goes great with these suede boots.
This jacket screams cute and should be in a movie.
Love the mix of colors.
Beautiful royal blue dress paired with navy tights.
Like the sleeveless sweater vest with the shear blouse.
Really love this plum colored dress for winter...looks great with the khaki green tights.
The royal blue booties are great with this black ensemble.
Great way to wear cream for fall.
This blue is a great color to try for fall with the dark grey boots.
Great layering idea...Pairing a cashmere sweater over a flirty tunic!
