Roberto Cavalli Fall 2010

It is hard to explain what certainly sets Roberto Cavalli apart from most other designers. "Italian" is what comes to mind when I say the name. Perhaps what I loved about the designer for the past couple seasons is his ability to use sheer layering to another level. The sheer pants were beautiful and transitional to what will continue to be popular for the next couple seasons. The sheer is so sexy.

The jackets were amazing too. The golden detail portrayed a Reniassance feel. As style.com mentioned, the collection had glamorous boho inspirations. I kind of think, rather, that the collection was just a darker boho/gypsy look.

The dresses were really noticeable and unlike most collections I have seen for fall. Why not wear a long gypsy inspired cream dress with a scarf and some boots?

The prints were something to notice as well. The blue, brown, and grey printed pieces are great and sometimes overlooked for winter clothes. This just goes to show how toned down animal prints can make the transition from summer into fall and winter.
