Tough Romanticism....VERA WANG

When interviewed at her Fall 2010 runway show in New York City Vera stated, "I always have a certain muse in my head. She is the good girl, but she has a toughness about her. There is something complicated behind that beautiful face..The hidden is perhaps a bit more sexy or interesting. A girl that you can't quite predict." I found this to be very interesting and intriguing. I think every women is smart enough to leave a little mystery behind her.

At first glance of her show, I immediately feel in love with the sort of tough romanticism the show had going on. Everything was black for the most part but what was so impecable about it was the way each look was executed. The way she creatively sculpted each and every piece with a variety of different fabrics and material was so incredibly genius to me. It was almost as if the rough interior of a women's mind and feelings was translated exteriorly for this show. I would call it goth chic
