Unleash the Unique

Free People is a store that I have grown to adore ever since I first saw Mischa Barton wear it on the popular hit T.V series, "The O.C." It has really caught on over the years as a brand targeted toward the "free-spirited" young woman. The store offers a variety of products such as clothing, shoes, and costume jewelry. I keep seeing more and more young woman wearing the clothes either on an everyday basis or out with friends. The brand certainly offers enough versatility to play on a funky look, laid back look. or ultra girly look. The design of the store itself offers a unique spin on selling clothing. Everything from the store displays to the dressing room curtains to the rugs on the floor all come together in a artistic way. The stores almost look like a closet that any young woman would die to have.

I love and enjoy associating myself with the Free People brand. Gone are the days of the Abercrombie and Fitch clones. In are the days of a woman looking to express herself. Its like I can spot a Free People top from a mile away from so many different women (all different skin colors, hair colors, and the like). The woman that rocks Free People clothes most likely doesn't fuss with her hair (a messy look will suffice), wears just enough makeup to accentuate her natural beauty, believes that life is full of endless possibility, and has a grace about her that makes her well-liked among friends.I find myself repeatedly buying their vintage inspired blouses and sweaters. Every item is so well thought out and different. A little embellishment detailing or a sexy cut-out in the back, certainly differentiates itself from any other average brand.
