I thought Saab was safe in some respects and original in others. Perhaps in this day in age when people are looking for a hot ticket item, they would rather spend it on something that will likely last for years to come. So why not buy a slick and ultra sexy black suit or form fitting dress in the dead of summer? Black will always be here to stay and Saab made quite a statement of this in his Spring runway show. He had a number of solid draped dresses in bright colors such as coral and royal blue.
On the other hand, he threw in a handful of creative and noteworthy trends. The shoulder pad was a key detail in many of his looks. I loved his embellished detailing and digital printed dresses. His printed dresses are great this season because they truly brighten up a woman's sun-kissed skin.
Most of his looks for more impractical due to its core wearability for an everyday look. But I am sure he will keep his celebrity clientele happy.
