Doo Ri's Spring 2010 Collection in Ice Cold

The model's looked chilled out as they were walking down the runway with a grayish-blue tint on their lips and frazzled bangs at Doo Ri last September. After watching the film "Seamless" this past April, I had a new found respect for Doo Ri. The movie "Seamless" is based on the first CFDA/Vogue annual contest intended for up and coming designers who compete to obtain the coveted $200,000 worth of funds to grow their brand. Doo.Ri didn't win the first time around, but she finally nailed it in 2006. Her personal hard work and dedication was inspiring because, as many designers do, she started her brand all on her own. She has the love and support of her family, who owns a small dry cleaning business in New Jersey, but she is a true symbol of a woman who relied solely on herself to put in incredulous hours week after week in order to fulfill her dreams as a designer.

I especially enjoyed the grey items of hers this season for Spring.
